Welcome to my homepage. First let me introduce myself, my name is Kevin Hoos. I love inventing using just about anything, especially computers. I'm a computer programmer, a musician, and so much more. Here's a list of some of the projects I'm working on:

Programming Projects:

  • MidiCon: A MIDI Program that will allow the user to script features to be used interactively while playing. (ie. play a note, and have the program play an arpeggio.)
  • YbSplit: A Windows File Splitter, used for putting large files on floppies.

    • Games

  • HexaChess: The next generation of chess. First, instead of squares, the base shape is hexagons. Also, up to 6 people can play in one game. I Already have the game designed, and have a copyright for it. Yes, I will soon have it available to the public.
  • MarbleWar: A game that takes Sorry to the next level.

  • Flying Car: Yes, I know many people are working on this general concept, but since I love inventing, I am working on it also. I hope to have a proof of concept built within a couple years. My idea is basically a super-powered computer controlled hovercraft. I want it as easy to fly as a car is to drive, maybe easier. I'm thinking something like the Jetsons. It will have a real autopilot, that is tied to a radar system to safely navigate around obsticles, and avoid collisions.
  • A "FreePower" Yacht: I'm designing a trimaran with lots of space for living. It will be powered with solar power, sails, and a hydrogen engine. It will pull hydrogen out of the water it's in whenever it has power to spare.
